Rendering of the future Jack Stack Barbecue in Martin City | Something Remarkable is Happening in Martin City

SAME CHARM. SAME STACK. NEW PAINT.

Forty-five years ago, Jack Fiorella decided to continue his family’s business in Martin City, Missouri – a small town with a huge heart. At the time, some said it was a strange place to set up shop, especially given the highly competitive barbecue scene in Kansas City. But, fortunately, none of that mattered to Jack and Delores Fiorella. They had a vision: to create a next-level hospitality experience around the elements of service and high-quality, hickory-smoked barbecue.

Today, our family is still committed to that same vision. For more than 60 years, we’ve been relentless in our pursuit of creating remarkable – for our dining experience, food, guests, employees, and community. In that time, we’ve come to realize that it’s not just great tasting barbecue people crave – it’s the change in being they experience when they’re met with unending hospitality, service, and gratitude. This truth has led to the creation of a business that Jack Fiorella himself couldn’t have imagined back then: 5 Kansas City area restaurants, a nation-wide shipping business, full-service catering, and a soon-to-be-launched event space called Fiorella’s.

Now in our 4th generation of family ownership, we’re excited to go back to the place in our story that started it all. Over the next few months, Jack Stack in Martin City will undergo a thoughtful remodel that maintains its unique charm while creating more dining opportunities for our guests. We will remain open during construction, and are excited to provide our diners in Martin City with:

  • A full service bar
  • An expanded carryout space
  • A larger, more functional kitchen (same stack!)
  • A more convenient patio space with added seating

Coming Spring 2020 – Jack Stack Barbecue in Martin City will feature a larger carryout space, a full-service bar with an expanded patio, and a bigger kitchen.

Without a doubt, this is an exciting new chapter in Martin City’s story. But as we move forward, we realize that Jack Stack in Martin City isn’t just an important part of our family’s experience; It’s an important part of our guest’s experience too. Since 1974, we’ve been honored to see this restaurant serve as the backdrop for some incredible memories – from first dates and birthday parties, to weekly get togethers between friends and loved ones. Simply put – we know that a meaningful story exists at every booth and table at Jack Stack in Martin City, and it’s a privilege to honor those stories through this remodel (more on that coming soon)!

Above all, we want to say thank you to every guest that has dined with us in Martin City over the last 45 years. Because of you, we’ve created a truly special brand of hospitality that serves a much greater purpose for countless people in our community. You are our inspiration, and we can’t wait to deliver the next 60 years of remarkable service that you deserve in Martin City. Check back often for updates on our remodel at MartinCityRemodel.com
