17 Mar UPDATE – Doing Our Part: Ensuring The Safety of Our Team and Guests
With the situation surrounding COVID-19 being incredibly fluid, we’ve made additional updates to our health and safety protocols that we’d like our employees and guests to be aware of:
In-Restaurant Dining:
Government officials from four Kansas and Missouri jurisdictions have mandated that all restaurants, bars, taverns, clubs and movie theaters close for a period of 15 days beginning on March 17th, and ending on April 1st. As a result, our dining rooms will be closed during this period.
Carryout and delivery services are allowed remain operational. To learn more about our curbside carryout and delivery options, click here.
Curbside Carryout Sanitation:
We are sanitizing all contact surfaces in our carryout area with hospital-grade sanitizer every half hour. Additionally, we have moved all carryout operations to curbside only. This means that guests will remain in their vehicles anytime they arrive to place or pick up a carryout order.
Carryout attendants who interact with guests will be wearing single use vinyl gloves each time food is delivered from our kitchen to a guest. Food will continue to be packed in sealed plastic containers or sealed oven-ready pans depending on the order.
Delivery Sanitation:
In an effort to ensure effective social distancing, Jack Stack Barbecue will now be offering local delivery via its own employees and catering vehicles according to the following sanitation outline:
• Each time a delivery route is completed, vans will be thoroughly sanitized to ensure the health and safety of our employees
• Drivers will wear single use vinyl gloves to hand deliver each order
• Touchless delivery (‘cue left at your door) is available upon request
• All delivery orders will be packed in sealed, plastic containers or sealed oven-ready pans
We will continue to monitor the situation related to COVID-19 as it unfolds, which includes strict adherence to Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidance and advice from local Departments of Public Health. In doing our part to keep our community healthy, Jack Stack Barbecue will always to work proactively to ensure your safety through this uncertain time. We appreciate your support and look forward to keeping you informed as we take action moving forward.
